Can I charge my XE-1 Battery from a 12 V DC Power Supply on my yacht?

This article sets out the requirements for charging the XE-1 Battery from a low voltage direct current power supply.

Information:

The Grin Tech Charger supplied with the XE-1 Hydrofoiler consumes 360 watt or power and can operate from an AC power supply in the range of 100 V to 240V.

Recommendation:

You can operate your Grin Tech Charger from the output of a pure sine or modified sine wave inverter with available power output of 500 Watt.

Your charger may run slightly hotter on a modified sine source due to the harmonics introduced by the stepped sine wave, though it shouldn't be very noticeable.
