This tutorial shows how to fit the front foil into the front tiller assembly of the XE-1.

1. Work Instruction - Remove Steering Fork Assembly with bearings
1.1 Align the Front Foil with the Front Tiller Assembly ensuring that the rounded leading edge of the foil is facing forward.
1.2 Assemble the Front Foil to the Front Tiller assembly by fitting the M6 x 35mm screws. [Tools: 4mm Hex]

INFORMATION: This work instruction assumes that the Front Tiller Shoe on top of the foil was not removed but make sure that it is fitted correctly with the rounded side facing forward and the sharp end trailing. Use medium-strength Loctite 243 on the screw threads. |
1.3 Fasten the Front Foil screws to a torque value of 4 - 5 Nm.
